Bounce House Rentals in Redwood City

Only two parks: Mezes Park (Area #1) and Marlin Park (Area #1). No other Redwood City parks allow inflatable jumpers. The picnic area and bounce house area must be reserved together — you can't book just the bounce house area.

No city permit is needed for backyard bounce house setups. You have no park restrictions on size, type, or equipment — combo units, water slides, and larger inflatables are all fine. Just ensure flat ground, power access, and overhead clearance.

Redwood City's insurance requirements mandate that the bounce house rental company supply the generator — you cannot bring your own. This ensures proper electrical safety and coverage under the vendor's liability insurance. The typical cost is $125.

Several Peninsula rental companies serve Redwood City. On JumpFun, you can filter by city to see only vendors that deliver to Redwood City, compare prices, and book directly. Make sure your chosen vendor has equipment approved for Redwood City parks if you're setting up at Mezes or Marlin.

A standard bounce house costs $175–$275 for a full day. Combo units are $275–$425, and water slides are $300–$500. For park setups, add $125 for the mandatory vendor-supplied generator. Non-residents pay an extra $20 per area for picnic reservations.

May through October is ideal — Redwood City's motto 'Climate Best by Government Test' is well-earned, with average highs of 71–77°F and virtually no rain. September often ties July/August as the warmest month at 77°F.

Mezes Park is centrally located (Warren & Standish) with a traditional park setting. Marlin Park is in Redwood Shores (Neptune & Cringle) with a waterfront lagoon setting, sandy beach, and playground. Both require Area #1 reservation for bounce houses.
